@ Ghost of RubangB

You're like that kid in class who always brought alcohol to school and sat on the floor in the back of the class naked.

Good God your avatar is awesome. Not as awesome as bdbdbd's. (I think he is the one with the hairy guy)

Thanks for the kind words.

I'm actually shocked I haven't seen a single naked person on campus in my fall, spring, summer, and a few weeks at Berkeley.

Nobody naked in a classroom or on or even near campus yet.

In a week or 2 I think San Francisco is having "LOVEFEST" or something.  I'm sure I can get my naked wacko fix there.

Gaffes and seemingly judgmental attitude towards Palin will give Biden a bad look and Palin will land a knock out blow near the end solidifying her maverick attitude.

That is some bias you've got there.

Most normal people think Palin will do pretty poorly, and probably embarass herself.

Normal people think Palin will do just fine.

Are you sure about that? So far the interviews she has done have been fairly poorly received. In fact given the very small number of interviews that her campaign has allowed her to give I would say that even her own party doesn't really trust her not to stuff up.

God shes dumb.

As in go buy us some coffee.

Every word that comes out of Palin's mouth will make Bob Schieffer laugh himself to death, and then without moderation, it will revert to the mudwrestling scenario.

Seriously though, this "maverick" bullshit has got to stop. It's not maverickosity that gets a politician to stop talking to cameras. A real maverick would've done more than 3 interviews by now. Biden will eat her alive. All he has to do is show up, and Palin will lose by default by talking about her foreign policy experience again.

COURIC: Why isn’t it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families who are struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries? Allow them to spend more, and put more money into the economy, instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?

PALIN: That’s why I say I, like every American I’m speaking with, we're ill about this position that we have been put in. Where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh, it’s got to be about job creation, too. Shoring up our economy, and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade — we have got to see trade as opportunity, not as, uh, competitive, um, scary thing, but one in five jobs created in the trade sector today. We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation.

She's like the kid in class who either didn't bother to read the material, or wasn't smart enough to understand it. And when she gets called on, she bullshits until the teacher mercifully tells her to shut the fuck up.

McCain doesnt even think Palin will do a good job.

It will be worth watching regardless of what happens.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

My bold prediction is that after the debate is finished, I will feel an overwhelming urge to punch them both in the face.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

How does your period affect your decisions?
What else can you see from your house that makes you qualified to run the country?
How long can Biden rip into Palin before they pull him off of her?
How would pregnancy affect the VP position?
