Forums - Microsoft - A few Xbox 360 accessory questions

I was wondering if you guys could please tell me if the Xbox 360 Premium comes with the component cables or if I have to buy them separately, in which case, could you also give me a picture of the official Microsoft ones?

Also, how much does a wireless Xbox 360 controller cost?

Thanks a lot!

All of them come with standard component cables (A/V), with HDTV as well. Only the elite comes with HDMI cables.

Official MS wireless controllers retail at $50. But I am certain you can offshoots much cheaper. Official wired controllers are $40, but the offbrands are $25 or so.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Do yourself a favor and use HDMI. Get the cheapest HDMI cable out there and you'll live happier.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

All of them come with composite cables(red/white/yellow), but not all of them with component. The Arcade only comes with the composite cables. The Pro and Elite come with the composite/component(HD) cables. The Elite also comes with the HDMI cables. I know because my old Core 360 only came with the composite cables.

I'd buy the HDMI cable if my TV supported it...but it doesn't. So I'm stuck with HD component. Oh well.

Thanks for the info anyway, I'll see if I buy an offbrand.

I thought using 3rd party accessories compromised your warantee for something.... or I am just speaking rubbish?

Using 3rd party accessories does not void your warranty. Your warranty is void only if you crack open the xbox 360 case.(there is a little sticker/seal underneath the faceplate that lets them know if you've opened it up, if you send it in).

Off brand cables or controller? The cables will have a component hook up out of the box unless you buy the arcade. Off brand controllers kind of suck in my experience. I would just spend the extra cash.
