Live is so, so awesome. I'm glad smalltime devs are making a killing off it self-publishing quality games.

Now if MS weren't so anal about their rejections...

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

profits are what I'm interested in, though I'm sure those should be spiffy too.

No matter how many fanboys sing the praises of HD gaming, it's what is undeniably killing Sony and Microsoft's stake in gaming. Only online gaming offers sanctuary to these two allowing them the ability to be manuverable and adaptable to the changing market.

It just worked because it are great games that they released on Xbox live arcade, doesn't really have to do something about the price drop.

great job :)

This is why I love XBLA. It offers these neat, enjoyable games that would be unavailable through normal retail channels.

Keep doing this,MS. It`s great.

Don't forget Portal, Southpark, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Vigilante 8 are still to come. With the new Xbox Experience, Xbox Live Arcade could get even better next year.

I really love XBLA. A game like Braid wouldn't be possible without Arcade. Nobody would have ever played it. It is a game by 2 independent developers. Now this game made $ 2,300,000.00 revenue. It is so nice to see that a creative gameplay, even if the game is low-budget, still sells well. Too many times I payed 60€ for a game that turned out to be crap.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

How would Braid not be possible without Arcade? It did sell great, but it would've sold far more on PC.
