Meh, I really enjoyed CoD4, don't get me wrong, but it was a CoD2 clone with a few touchups. If Infinity Ward doesn't innovate this time I'm not buying.

5 new Guitar Heros seem more reasonable...... |
Good point.
The irony of the hate that Treyarch gets is they are the ones changing the franchise not Infinity Ward. WaW adds lots of vehicles, much more open battlefields with less linearity, and a setting that actually creates new gameplay styles.

I'm going to give them a chance and rent World at War and see how it goes. I know what they've said about COD3, but playing through that game has left me a little iffy with them.
We'll see how it goes I guess.
My first thread that has got 4 pages..!! But thats really little =P
Awesome! hopefully it will be set in Australia, or at least you can play as an Australian.
As ive said before, no wii version confirmed.

They need to take Call of Duty into a new war. How about the Civil War? Or the Hundred Years War? World War II is just too modern and played out.

I've always liked the idea of Call of Duty: Fall of Rome, myself.
Also, this is not the sixth game, but the eight. Peeps be forgetting Finest Hour, and Big Red One (rofl)

I only keep call of duty series in track that was made by Infinity Ward, Cod1,2,4 so I like to think of it as the 4th game by IW :D but Fall of Rome would kick ass?
i am only going to buy the ones make by infinity ward
