Forums - Microsoft - EU Xbox 360 advertisement

That`s what i like about MS -> marketing. Plus, the price is good,at 179 euro it will sell this Christmass. With hardcore games like Gears 2 and Fable 2 and family games like Viva piniata 2, Banjo 3 and Rockband 2... Again, great marketing.

Wow, creepy.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Amazing ads. 360 not giving up in EU. Good Job MS. Looks like they are trying to please gamers all over the world unlike SONY.

I think the most pertinent information from the ads is that, for the most part they feature women. I do not know the demographics of 360 owners, but I would surmise that women are not the 360's base. From these ads, I think it is clear that MSFT is making an effort to appeal to "casuals."

Almost as creepy as the PS3's baby ad....>_> I still have nightmares..

Former something....

Lil bit sicko :S

Not sick as PS3 devil doll ad, but still kind a creepy.

in what way are these ads creepy?

"...You can't kill ideas with a sword, and you can't sink belief structures with a broadside. You defeat them by making them change..."

Here in Canada, we only have the Rock Band one (at least from what I've seen). Although I mainly watch Spike, so I guess they wouldn't show ads for Lego Batman or the movie downloads.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

The Lego Batman ad was shown 3 times during the Singapore F1 Grand Prix today. Good choice because alot of Brits watch F1 because of Lewis Hamilton.

I just like, download movie with xbox, "hard drive required" from 129.99

I thought that misleading information like this was not allowed? Or isn't there such a law in other countries (and looking at the presidential elections, I can say that the US apparently doesn't have such a law >_>)

The ASA have some of the toughest standards and regulations in the world, they're also really slow. If something's wrong with this advert, it will be pulled off/Microsoft will be made to edit it within the next couple of weeks.

Apple got screwed over a few weeks ago thanks to the ASA.
