nah i dont care....single player is all i need

It is a day 1 fix.

so was the LBP one :p

I was merely correcting your original statement.  Not sure what LBP has to do with anything.

I would say Go to Hell, but that might be rude, so read between the lines and get what I infer.

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

This space Reserved for the Nuggets of Wisdom dropped by Bladeforce:

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

I'm bashing both equally. Both developers fail to deliver what's promised, what if the gamer doesn't have internet hooked up or something? Major Fail on the developer side imo.

How's having the patch ready the week the game releases failing to deliver on promises? At max. we are looking at 2-3 days you'll be missing out this functionality. There's not even a case to be made for arcade users, playing on xbox live mandates a hard disk anyways - many games require post-release patches and anyone with the console plugged to the intertubes will want a hard disk anyways for the demos and xbla games.

If the gamer doesn't have internet hooked up why does missing the patch to enable internet coop hurt him?

Maybe his ISP isn't the unlimited type, like say anything over a certain treshold will cost you a bunch of money. Why should he have to waste his badnwidth for something that should have come in the box?

You really are grasping at straws lol. You've been caught flaming Fable 2 for something that is not an issue yet you come back again. A+ for effort tho lmao.

If someone didn't have an unlimited type ISP he'd be paying so much money the patch would be just crumbs in comparison. Do you know how much bandwith online gaming eats? The patch is peanuts. I know because I used to play EQ with germans before unlimited rates were marketed over there - geebus, their bills were scary.

So, what's next... the effort to click on the "patch the game" button is such a bear on the strength of the gamers it might shorten their lifespan? Or are you gonna argue about the HDD footprint of the patch? Heck, maybe downloading the patch is gonna affect the half-life of the copper wiring?

This is a non-issue but I'm not gonna try to stop you, the self-owning is always entertaining.

Go easy on him bitmap, you know how much bandwidth those 2mb patches take.

Yeah, I should try to shorten the length of my posts. All those letters are causing collateral financial harm to those who are not on unlimited ISP's.
