What is there is exactly what was shown 8 months ago. The timeframe of the patch may have lead to problems for some but I don't think it has any relevance on how the co-op is implemented. I'm also not saying it couldn't have been done better either, because IMO it could have been. |
Very well, I just guess people completely blew it out of proportion and raised everyone else's expectations. The game hasn't frozen on me either yet. Meanwhile, more crippling bugs read their head:
"The first occurs during the "Monk's Quest" mission, in which players need to speak to the Abbot of the Temple of Light in Oakfield. If players leave the temple before finishing the conversation with the Abbot, they are unable to resume the quest -- which means they can't finish the game. The second bug occurs when a "Hero" player goes into co-op mode with a player still in the "childhood" phase of the game. Apparently the Hero character will have his or her experience and gold completely wiped out this way, which is a pretty brutal punishment for playing with a less experienced friend."
Goes on to say that they are working on a patch for it and all, but again, I don't see why it should have been released to 2 patches in the first month.
