Wii exclusives announced since April:

Smarty Pants
Soul Calibur Legends
Space Station Tycoon
Mario And Sonic
Nights
Rygar
Zack and Wiki
RE: UC
Rayman 2
My Word Coach
Red Steel 2
Boogie
Mysims
Smarty Pants
Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire
Crusin
Blast Works: Build, Fuse and Destroy
Trauma Center 2
Dewy's Adventure
Destroy All Humans
Big Willy Unleashed
De Blob
Medal of Honor
Furu Furu Park
Bleach
Real Heroes
Forever Blue
Geometry Wars
Chocobo Dungeons
Carnival Games
Rayman Ravind Rabbids 2
Agatha Christie
Destiny of Zorro
Dave Mirra BMX Challenge
One Piece: Unlimited Adventure
Opoona
EA Playground
Cosmic Family

And I'm sure I'm missing a great deal. If that isn't increased Wii support, I don't know what is. The Wii has seen more games announced exclusively for it in the last four months than the PS3/360/PC have had combined.

Geometry Wars is an Xbox Live game that sells for 2.5 dollars but is being sold as a full game on Wii with added levels and whatnot. As a console owner, what list of games looks better to you that one or the one on the PS3 or 360?

Again, crappy exclusives don't mean good 3rd party support. More Zack and Wiki and No More Heroes, that is what good 3rd party support is not Agatha Christie or Carnival Games.

Looking at that list I see a majority of mini game collections and other budget titles. Also you mentioned at least 2 of the games twice.

As you can see they are all multiplatform except for Naruoto: Rise of a Ninja, Splinter Cell Conviction and the Dark Messiah PC port that are 360 exclusive.

Ok. So the problem with Wii is the lack of 3rd party support NOW, but for the "anti Wii entity" (bodhesatva, 2007) you are allowed to list games in development coming late 2008 and even early 2009. Keep up this and you may lose the respect you earned from some users.

The discussion was about games announced recently from 3rd parties. What does the date of release have to do with it?

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

The list of Wii exclusives is surprisingly solid, and we should have more announcements before the end of the year. Seriously, third party support is looking fine now, and will definitely get better.

The 360/PS3 list is also good. There, no need for stupid console wars and misguided fanboyism.

Geometry Wars Galaxies is also a much bigger game, and is a sequel, not a port. Kick and scream all you want, Ck. "I don't like those games! They stink! The 360/PS3 games are good!" Call me stupid if you want, too. I don't care about almost any of the games you mentioned for the 360/PS3, either. So thrash and scream to your hearts content -- since April, the Wii has seen more games announced exclusively for it than the 360 and PS3 have seen combined

"I don't care about those games, so they don't count!" is quite silly, but if that's your only defense, fine.

Wii has better third-party support in terms of quantity. 360 and PS3 have better support in terms of quality. That doesn't mean that Wii titles are all bad, though. Just not good enough to contend with the small amount of high-quality titles coming out for the 360 and PS3.

The Wii list is not solid that is the point. There are definitely some great third party games coming to Wii and to deny that would be blind, but the list is far from solid in the big picture.  Like I said No More Heroes looks to be better than the majority of 3rd party games on PS3 and 360, but that is one of the exceptions to the rule and not the other way around.

I'm not trying to start console wars, but the Wii people keep insisting that the Wii is getting the best 3rd party support while I keep insisting that it's getting the cheap games in the majority of cases and having Jenga exclusively on Wii doesn't make it any better of a game. I hope that game isn't full priced because that would be the biggest rip off ever...

So you'd rather have Jenga because it's a Wii exclusive than let's say a big multiplatform game to play on your system?

Good 3rd party support is in the form of good games, not cash in titles which is the majority of 3rd party games. There is a reason why EA's Playground is considered a big game on Wii, if this game came out on the 360 or PS3 it wouldn't ever be noticed.

Still seems that most 3rd parties consider the Wii the system to put their low budget cash ins, most of their kids games and a port console for games previously released on PS2 and PSP.

You use a double standard for your claims. Everything for Wii 3rd party, exclusive or not, is cheap and crappy games. This is your opinion dude. I dislike Jenga kind of announcements, but the generic 3rd shooter for PS3 will not help most of us buy a PS3.
What if I said that MGS 4 is a shitty game with a stupid storyline? Should I exclude it from the PS3 3rd party list?

Do not even try the "the game is not ready, you do not know the story, you must play it first". You had not played most Wii games and may not even touch those games on the list, still you bash them from being cheap.

Exactly my point. Believe me there is almost nothing on PS3 or 360 3rd party that I want to play as much as No More Heroes on the Wii. And I know that game is ideal for the Wii, same with Manhunt 2... Wii needs more of those games, not even necessarily as violent as those, Zack and Wiki is looking very promising too and it's a family game.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Seriously, ckmlb, you're going crazy.

First off, this thread was stupid to begin with...just Celb trying to say there's no 3rd party support for the Wii.

People have posted the list of Wii exclusives, and you're trying to prove that the 360/PS3/PC combined list is better. At least separate the 360 list, the PS3 list, and the PC list...you can't compare 1 console to 3.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

You always choose to ignore the Wii 3rd party games that I praise for how good they are to make your point that I am 'anti-Wii'. Read all my posts on this list and I professed that I want some Wii 3rd parties very much just not the mini game collections and cash in titles.

Also, the debate isn't whether this list will help anyone buy a PS3 or not, I am making a point about Wii 3rd party support being slim while some people refuse to see that.

Also, if you think MGS 4 is crappy then you're free to do so but I would point out to you it's not cause that's all I can do. You can't compare me calling a Jenga game crappy to you saying MGS 4 is crappy, it's not even in the same ball park....
