If you want to believe that, fine. Ck, I had left console gaming completely for almost twelve years. The last console I purchased and owned was a PS1! I came back precisely and only because of the Wii and Wii style games. What I'm getting is very much what I want. If you want to believe I'm lying -- if you want to believe that everyone obviously hates these games, fine. I don't, okay? You're welcome to your preferences, and I have mine. I've made my preferences abundantly clear in the past.

You repeatedly make this claim about being tired of traditional games except you show enthusiasm for traditional games on the Wii...hmmm I wonder how that works?

You had a huge rant twice about how games about wars and shooting and whatnot are crappy and for teens or whatever yet when Capcom announced that RE: UC is a test game you said in the thread that every Wii owner should buy that game...

You contradicted yourself over your stance towards violent and traditional games so many times that I am convinced that you're just another Wii supporter and not someone who likes the Wii only for its non traditional games.

This is a lie. A lie. In fact, it's a repeated lie. Lie, lie lie. Please stop. I mean that -- stop lying. Here is the original post about this topic:

http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=4050

The first time you brought this up, I just poked fun at it. But I have now told you -- again, repeatedly -- that I have no interest in RE:UC, that I don't own RE:4 in any edition, and that I have no plan to buy either game. I mean this -- stop lying, Ck, because we've been over this repeatedly. I will report you, which I don't want to do.

And please, stop with the Martyr stuff. I have a great relationship with Vizunary. I really liked Legend. I think Rocketpig is great. I like Windbane. I think Mrstickball is great. The problem isn't that I criticize everyone who dislikes the Wii: the problem is you. I don't know where your bitterness comes from, Ck, but you've been a good poster in the past, and I really wish you'd return to that.

Step 1: stop telling us that all the Wii games are stupid and meaningless. If you don't like them, fine. Just stop telling us all they're crap, because many of us don't agree.

Oh, and Rygar is not a port of the PS2 game, it's a sequel. Maybe you are the one who should get your facts straight.

Really? Maybe you shoud have checked your facts. Here's the link, enjoy:

http://wii.ign.com/articles/803/803338p1.html

July 11, 2007 - Tecmo shocked everyone back in May with the announcement that Rygar would be coming to the Wii. Well, here's what was left out of that announcement. Project Rygar is, according to the latest issue of Famitsu, just an updated version of the PlayStation 2 Rygar game.

Of course, Tecmo is adding some updates to the game. Famitsu provides a first look at the new Muscle Mode, which appears to be a battle mode that makes use of the Wiimote for direct controls. You have access to three special moves, achieved by swinging the Wiimote in different ways.

Outside of this new mode, the game will also see a redesigned main character, redesigned enemies, new monsters and new enemy positions. It's unclear if the main story mode will make use of direct controls, but hopefully Tecmo will be able to provide some clarification at E3.

I made a thread about this even in the Nintendo forum maybe you should have checked.

"But there seems to be a campaign here that whoever criticizes the Wii, its 3rd party support or the direction of Nintendo is a fanboy and should be deligitimized."

Go ahead and criticize the Wii's selection of games...that's fine.

What's NOT fine is forcing your opinion on others by CONTINUALLY stating that the 3rd party game list is insufficient. You say it has some good games but lots of crap too. I bet a lot of people agree with you...but there ARE people buying these casual games...believe it or not, a lot of such games are actually fun. It's annoying to keep saying the Wii's list of games is worse than the PS3/360 just because half the games are "Jenga." Lots of people would rather play Jenga than Splinter Cell...your opinion, as well as others here, don't matter in this debate...we're simply talking straight up how many games for each console.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Drop the "Wii 3rd party support is all mini game or cash in ports" argument. This will be obsolete in a few months. Like a good fanboy you should innovate and move to the "Wii life span is 5 years, PS3 will last 10 years".
Fanboy huh? I'm sure there is a massive flow of great third party games coming to Wii in the next few months as shown in the list made over here except they are mostly cash ins and mini game collections.

Cklmb has it ever occured to you that all the Wii fans want is for you to give Nintendo the benefit of the doubt? That's all that we are doing.

That is also why you are being labelled as a Sony fanboy, you are certainly giving Sony the benefit of the doubt. Why can't you do the same for Nintendo and the Wii.

@ckmlb,

I would like you to respond to my post, since you seem to have time to argue with a lot of, IMO, senseless posts.

@naznatips,

ckmlb is right about that. I remember reading that same article.

Here's a bet, Ck: there are more World War FPSers in development right now than mini game party compilations. I'm not entirely sure that's true, but it's certainly close and up for debate.

 I actually mentioned something along these lines to someone else recently.  Of the 68 Wii games in America, 13 of them were mini game.  How would those numbers look if you replace mini games on the Wii with FPS games on the 360?

Stop ignoring the facts. It's still better support in terms of quantity. Not quality... it's more of a half-and-half thing. Wii gets better support in terms of quantity, 360/PS3 gets better support in terms of quality.

 So I don't have a right as someone who owns a Wii or actually as someone discussing video games on a video game forum to aks the question: where is the 3rd party support?

I think I have the right to bring it up as many times as I want even if you or many others disagree with me. This is a forum to discuss stuff if topics are going to be made off limites to satisfy the needs of certain Wii fanboys then what's the point of a forum?

I'm sure there are people who'd rather play Jenga than Splinter Cell as there are people who'd rather listen to 50 Cent than something else, does that make his music great?

And don't tell me this is all subjective because everything is subjective and that is the point of debate.

 He mentioned nothing about quantity, he said the games will not be cash ins and mini game collections.
