It is, but everyone was assuming to clear 40GB from all stores when it's just clear 40GB's from Blockbusters.

Actually walmart did the exact same thing around a month ago when the new 80gig models came in.

a 40$ price cut on the 80gb would be terrific for sales, i dont understand you sony. maybe we should wait and see.

It's most likely shareholders' fault. They pressure Sony for profitability, so Sony doesn't price cut even thought it'd be for the better long term good.

Sony has nothing to do with this price cut, it's all Blockbuster.

sales are good enough even if they are selling less than 360

i don't see a price cut unless ps3 sales go down
