Why are they so easy? There isn't even a trophy for accomplishing the game in it's entirety, or one for getting your final license, or for finding all smashes, jumps or billboards, or for completing all online freeburns. Also the flatspin trophy is for only 180 degrees. The entire trophy list looks like they halved the difficulty. Were people complaining about the difficulty or something, because this entire list could be completed in a matter of five-ten hours with minimal effort.

I was wondering the same.

My guess was that Criterion was planing to make the PSN trophies retroactive by tying them to the in-game trophy system. So they went ahead and copied some of the in-game objectives but found out that it couldn't be retroactive and just stuck with the in-game trophies..

I think it's their way of apologizing to us for letting us down. I think they realized, that if we had to do all the stuff we already did believing we would be rewarded for it, but starting from scratch, there would be a lot of pissed of gamers out there. SO basicly they are saying:

"We are sorry that we made you believe that your effort would pay off, and we couldn't keep that promise. We want to make it up to you by giving you an easier way to the top, so you wont have to redo it all. Again, we apologize."

The problem with Burnout and needing to do everything over again, is of course that it is a sandbox game with so many different things to do in it. Which is just one more reason why I believe my reasoning is correct.

It just seems like such a waste. At this rate I'm surprised there isn't a trophy for starting the car's engine or making a left turn. Well congratz any trophy whores out there. This is your dream game.

I liked Burnout for the most part, I just hated how every time I wrecked the car I had to sit through 10 seconds of a physics demo I couldn't skip. It's stupid crap like that that makes me put down a good game.

So don't play Burnout then >_>

You already bought it, Criterion doesn't care

I already sold it back though because I thought I was going to get trophies for the things I had already done.  :-p

...............................

How exactly did you think you were going to download the trophy patch without having the game to start with ?

I was about to ask that.

I was about to ask why you didn't finish reading the thread but then I figure you probably wouldn't read this anyways... :-p

You should know that you would have to download the patch to get your retroactive trophies.

Again, if you had read you would see I have an answer for that.

Have to built your gamecard on playfire.

It's kinda tedious as each time you get a new trophy you have to update it on that site..

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Just read it now that I got home, was posting from my Palm while at work and wasn't gonna scroll through the whole thread on that thing......

It kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it? I mean you worked so hard to get to Level 5 and someone else can come along and rush their way to Level 8 with a few hundred clicks of a mouse.

It does but I can friend you on PSN and see if your stuff is made up or not ( you don't have to accept the invitation for me to see your stats).
