...But dropped down to the exact same level the PS3 was selling at, the next week, and continued to go down to what it's at now.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I was afraid I'd be accused of trolling if I brought up week 2. We all remember week 2. Week 1 was the week the PS3 fans asked us to just give them, and not say anything negative saleswise about the game or the hardware bump....and thenthere was week 2. We'll always remember week 2. When the honeymoon was over.
Comparitively, the price cut in Japan for the 360 is a monumental success, and actually good news for the 360, unlike MGS4 week 2, which was bad news for the PS3. I'm fairly sure that less than 10 percent of us here actually predicted the 360 would outsell the PS3 this week. Maybe I'm wrong. I certainly wouldn't have put my money on any sustained bump for the 360 in Japan. The existance of this topic is a testament.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
I'd say choice "A". I think the current slate of JRPG titles have powered the rise, but there's only 2 left, and while the price cuts helped a bunch, I don't think it's going to stay above 10k, but I DO think it's going to settle in the 6-8 range on a longer term basis, with event driven spikes.

thats its much higher than the average 360 average.
360 is likely like the ps3 go back to it normal numbers
good news for the 360 was it continue selling around 30k but that didn't happen
drop in sales in second week over a game bump its expected ps3 did around 24k second week 15k third week and managed to hold there for a while ti now 8000 and never going down that, but the bump wasn't as big a msg4 even coupled with a cheaper console than wii/psp/ps3.
360 will reach 5000 much faster since the bump isn't as big.
looking at numbers its easy to tell they will never be even close the ps3 or even the wii.
lets forget totally psp and ds even so.
Xbox has several more title exclusives to be released in Japan, so I don't think it'g going to get much less than 6000, unless it's supplied constrainted.
A, I think it is more then unliky that it will or could sell 10k week after week but idk i hope so =)
