RE2. A remake, not a port.
Any more old ports from Capcom and I'm boycotting them until the day RE5 or SFIV comes out (whichever comes first...)

RE5 for RE4 controls. Bionic Commando for IR robot arm swinging.

This but only if they take the time to do them right. No muddy textures, tacted on control schemes, etc. |
Will never happen, are you contented TvC and MH3 will be Wii exclusive? MH3 is far bigger than those three combined... Besides, SF series and other fighting games for that matter are for arcades and only for arcades.
end of core gaming days prediction:
E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out

If you do something for any extended period of time, your brand is going is going to become associated with that thing. Ubisoft is becoming (negatively) associated with the Petz/Babyz/Stuffz style games which is harming is image to a lot of folks. I wonder if Capcom really wants to be known only for their old titles... |
Given that Capcom has a great back catalog of games I can't see the harm in it. They wanna expose their great works to the new audience being upstreamed by Nintendo before they start anything truly daring.
And it's rather funny that even their most anticipated upcoming games are just sequels of that back catalog. RE5, SF4, and a remake of BC.
And I forgot, MM9 was time exclusive for the Wii what more can you ask for? And wii have RE5, its called Dead Rising chop till you drop...

Maybe in your eyes. It's not my fault that many Wii owners are clamoring for these sequels and eating up ports. I don't see anything wrong with serving the fiends. At least most are ports of good games. It's not like this is exactly a new strategy from Capcom either. For every new game we see they have at least 1 or two ports or meager updates. About half of thier PS2 catalogue are games from a previous era, yet I still see people get excited everytime they announce something.

Capcom didn't state those games aren't coming to the Wii. They actually said they want to complete the games first before they even begin to work on any ports.
As for their reputation, people complaining here about Capcom porting everything is about as good as people complaining about Wii Music. As in it doesn't really hurt them.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Do you understand under what conditions that it would really hurt them?
