There's no question we'll see a price drop in North America, I think most people that would pay 400 for a PS3 already have one. 399.99 vs 199.99 360 core is a really bad situation for Sony. Last time it was in November, I think this time it'll be when LBP comes out (if they're putting a lot into marketing this game). I think they'll be considering somewhere between 279.99-349.99.

World wide, I think its probable to see a price drop too - less likely though than America.

Ok people ill add something else. Another reason for them to drop it buy 100$. M$ just had a price cut.

Now there less than half the price of the ps3. If they take it down buy 100$ they stay in combat with M$ and will not have to drop the price for a very long time unless M$ are willing to put themselfs in the red.
