Compared to lame old Gears of war2, Resistance has a better story, better weapons, better enemys, not to mention its FPS and not lame 3rd person where online everyone hides behind a wall camping... anyone else feel the same? R2 looks awesome

Insomniac always makes great games. And Resistance was there first crack at a FPS. So I expect Resistance 2 to be even better.

Oh man the only problem with deadspace I have is the walking on walls dead, It reminded me of PREY and that game gave me a headache when I played it from all of the wall walking and stuff.

Why all the Gears 2 hate today?

Its like Killzone 2 got relegated to a dud release date so every Sony fan feels a sudden need to pump Resistance 2.

Unlike KZ2, Resistance 2 is the sequel to a decent game from a developer proven to be capable of making a competent shooter. Stop bitching and let the game speak for itself. It probably wont quite be at the quality of Gears 2 simply because of Epic's experience and slightly better game to build on, but it will no doubt be very high quality.

Enough with this flamebait thread. There were many better ways that this topics could have been created. None of which needed to belittle 3rd person shooters and Gears of War 2.
