What Wii game is GOTY material. Mario Kart? You can't be serious. As for Brawl, I actually think Melee was the best one. And the Wii Series....... I'm just gonna say no. It will be either MGS4, LBP or GTA4. Resistance/Gears 2 could have outside shots......but MGS4, wow........
I doubt it would happen, but i'd really like reviewers to bite the bullet and not even nominate GTAIV.. it will never happen since all of them gave it 10 from initial hype.. but it'd be interesting to see.. on a similar note, i wonder how many will have forgotten about their 6-7/10 reviews for mario kart, and put that up there with the best this year
um... i understand that something like this would usually be an opinion.. but brawl is pretty much melee plus so so much more.. it even includes the same control scheme if that was what you wanted.... i cannot understand (unless you are just giving an empty reason as to why brawl wouldn't be up there with the games you actually played) how in any way melee could be seen as superior to brawl... At All.

its going to be mgs4. unless mirror's edge or gears 2 delivers something fierce... lbp prolly one of em runner ups.
I think people should start considering Resistance 2 after all those vids Insomniac put out. My jaws are on the floor folks!

Im yet to play Brawl, but from what ive heard , from peopel that rather melee over it. Is that the hits in brawl seem light.

I own both Brawl and Melee and I also prefer Melee more. Brawl just seemed like too much of the same ol' same ol' that we saw in Melee. It's like all of the Guitar Hero games since the first one.
Speaking of Guitar Hero, I think World Tour might actually have a shot at GOTY. They have put a lot of effort into making the game the best it could be. IGN sais that if you only own one music game ever, it should be Guitar Hero: World Tour. It's the first game in the series to actually branch out of just your basic Guitaring, but at the same time, it one-ups Rockband. I honestly think it could be GOTY.
