4) How does it feel not have wireless internet

Maybe I was right....

I don't have a PS3 20 gb but I am thinking of buying one...when the price comes down to say 250 - 300. I am a casual game player and I do like to watch high definition movies. For a blue-ray player, the PS3 is probably the best product out there. If its price can come down to say 250 - 300 range, I think I will buy one.

I doubt there are many of them...

It's not a horrible deal though...it's still $500, which is too much for me though...

I wonder if there were lots of 20 GBs sitting around, if Sony would drop those to $400...that would've been a good incentive to buy a PS3...

It's just too much money for Sony to lose on every unit though.

But modding it with a bigger harddrive makes it basically worthwhile...

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Yeah, the only thing lacking is wifi, card readers, and 40GB.  It was a bad move for Sony to stop making them, even if they lost more money on them.   It was a better deal than the 360 premium and PS3 60GB (even though I went with convenience and bought the 60GB).  80GB isn't exactly a solid step up either, and I think it's a bad move, but I assume that was the best cost per unit for them.

I have what was a 20G PS3. I don't have a digital camera and I have two wireless routers set up as a WDS LAN (one in my office and the other on my media server in the living room). It didn't really make sense for me to drop an extra $100 for two things I would never use and another that I was planning on upgrading anyway.

It seems the mods need help with this forum.  I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.
