batman is beginning to do my head in. just 3 rooms left in combat and those damn lighting rod guys ruin my combos lol
the two shock and awe's i can do just a matter of luck, but what is the best way to score for the second rumble in the jungle as the huge henchmen ruin my scoring :(

Yeah weaken the big brutes first and once they are low on life start jumping on their back and swinging at all the henchmen to start your combo going.

I think I didn't get a continuous combo the whole time, but was still able to get 3 stars with all the unblockable combos from swinging from a brutes back. Make sure to do ground takedowns when your combo gets high. They give the most points. I also made sure to always go for max variations, and if I took damage in the first 2 rounds I'd restart. The shock and awe, shock guys, were the toughest part for me. Usually broke my combo. I'm a little hazzy, but I think the best way to disarm them was to flip over them and they drop the shock stick.

I played the demo of Comet crash and Mushrrom Wars and really enjoyed them. Im thinking about getting them.

Anyone here have them?

Finally got the Borderlands plat last night, with Flynt pushing me to level 50. It was a pain in the ass battle though, since I think I died more in that battle than throughout my entire second playthrough (Flynt killed me 3 times himself).

For now, I'll put Borderlands on the back burner and play through some other games, but it is definitely a game I can see myself playing a lot more on the side.

I just got Need for Speed: Shift and inFamous for £45 both preowned. I love it when you find amazing preowned deals.

MasterVG, will you play Borderlands with me when i get it? Just first place or so. I heard it gives so much XP if you play with a high level person.

@kyliedog thanks il try it as its the only room i struggle to score more than two bats :(

@hideok i have the same problems as you did, those shock guys get diffcult to pick from the crowd when in full flow and ruin my variation bonuses as i aim for 7, thou need the9 for trophy.

FINALLY after huge amounts of swearing and pad throwing i did both shock and awe rooms :) only the last jungle to do then hard mode for plat....problem being i don't get near the 50,000 score :(

I'm kind of burnt out on Borderlands at the moment, so it will probably be a couple of weeks before I want to play it again.

Also, looks like more Borderlands DLC is on the way...

I checked other shops. Everywhere was selling NFS Shift at £39.99 and infamous and £29.99. Thats basically £70 so getting them for £45 is a good deal. Plus when i sell NFS people won't know i paid £30 for it, if i put it on ebay for £25 it will sell. It's Christmas, people splash out before they think.
