just for the record... how would you (your platinuns) be in these ratings? hehe

I have six ONE stars, ten TWO stars and five THREE stars... zero 4 stars kkkk

 

but let it be.... I still intend to get platinum in Killzone 2 and Demon´s Souls (I have them here, but I just started playing both of them), and of course one day the platinum in street fighter 4 will be mine!

 

edit> Yes, a 1-5 scale would be good. IF the 5 stars games were something like, you maybe know one person in your list who has this platinum, or never heard of anyone who has it. like SOCOM, battlefield, virtua tennis (yeah, bugged games... what can u do..), cross edge, street fighter 4, etc.

Also were five trophies posted for the Borderlands DLC (it has zombies) posted at ps3trophies.org, but two are secret and they just say you need to finish specific missions (no idea about the two secret ones).

I also finally ordered Ratchet & Clank, Borderlands and Demon's Souls from Best Buy today. Unfortunately, R&C and DS were backordered (R&C just came out today! WTF!), so it will probably be two weeks before I see those.

6 *, 7 **, 8 ***, 2 ** ( counting Demon's Souls I got a few days ago).
Total : 52 stars !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I might be on top of the stars ranking !

Average 2.26 stars/plat.



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Guitar Hero Smash Hits
Guitar Hero Van Halen

I know very few people have Warhawk, and I would be surprised if anyone had any of those 3 GH's. They are asymptotic with impossible.

Granted, none of us have any of those platinums, but maybe that would invoke people to try harder?

5 stars should be Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and White Knight Chronicles ( noone in the world has either at this point :P).


Ninja gaiden sigma 2 is definetly a 10 star.

@ fadetoone: I like the idea of maintaining a list of very difficult games to platinum and rating them with the highest difficulty in order to entice people to earn the plat in that game. I'll take a shot at identifying these games, and make a list. Thanks for the suggestion.

@ kyliedog: thanks for the rating suggestions. I'm going to look into making some adjustments to the scale, including the possibility of a 5 star scale, and we'll see how that adjusts things.

@ everyone: I'll look into a 5 star scale some time this week and I'll post the results. Hopefully, we'll get to a point where we have a general consensus, and we can start using the difficulty ratings for additional user stats. Thanks for everyone's feedback.

I think 5 stars is a good idea however I don't think many games would deserve this and it should stay opened for future games.

 

Warhawk should be 5 stars, no question.

MLB10 The show probably is a 5 stars too..

Probably those guitar hero games FadeToone mentions, although I haven't tried them so I just trust him..

I woudn't move any other currently ranked game to 5 stars though...

But should really time consuming platinums count as really hard ones?

Warhawk is a really time consuming platinum but really hard one.

Virtua tennis 2009 is also time consuming but not so hard.

The majority of the hard ones tend to translate into time consuming ones.

Something that is really hard that a very good gamer will achieve in  2 hours can usually be achieved by an average gamer in a lot more time...

It's not always true but in most cases it is ( besides some of Warhawk medals and badges are really not a piece of cake..)

I mean a good gamer will clear master ninja in 10-12 hours, an average one will do so in 40 hours :P
