@Jboy
Yeah I did everything there was to do in FFX myself. Played over 150 hours and beat the final boss 'Nemesis' in that monster challenge arena. The battle took about an hour 1/2 because he 4 million HP. And my reward for beating him: a note that says "You are the one who conquered all" or something to that effect. Every Final Fantasy since FF7 has had usually at least 2-3 optional bosses (weapons) that are more challenging than any boss in the game.

FF7 - Emerald & Ruby Weapon
FF8 - Ultima & Omega Weapon
FF9 - Ozma & Hades
FFX - Nemesis & (others in monster arena)
FFXII - This game had maybe 8-10 optional which is the only Final Fantasy game I played where I didn't defeat all the optional bosses. Just wasn't really into FFXII to keep playing after beating the game. Hope XIII & Versus XIII will be better for me.

@Fatetoone
3 hours for one boss fight is crazy!

Yeah see i want to go back and get to Nemesis... I actually want to fill my power grid up completely.. I got over half way through and then ps3 came lol. I might get back to it while i am waiting for my new ps3

EDIT - Are all the FF games the same? The main thing that i won't like is that the characters from FFX won't be in any of them. I guess its because it was my first and only FF and i'm too use to that story and those characters? Plus i liked the Aeons and all that... only disappointment was that sorry excuse for a boss... You can't even die!

Yeah, the one optional boss in FFXII takes an average of 2-3 hours for the regular gamer, since he has 50 million HP and the most physical damage that can be done is 9,999 per hit (some weapons can do more than one hit).

May I point out that there was Pennance in the EU versions of FF X with about 8m exp if my memory serves me right. To beat him you had to beat all the Dark Aeons and then he would appear. I hadn't got to him, but I did have 3 characters who could deal 99,999 with each hit. Blitz ace would do about 720,000 damage and with Tidus I had triple overdrive and break HP limit, which meant he had 25k health. I was planning to fight Pennance, but I ran out of time, maybe next summer

And now I have Fat Princess. Woo Hoo!!!!

I have played it for a bit and am loving it. I mean, it sucks that I always seem to end up on a team that loses and that Im no good with the Warrior.

I really like being a Worker or a Mage.

If anyone else has it, lets play.

Anima was my favorite Aeon in FFX... He was such dark powerful aeon. I remember I got his power so high he dealt like 99,999 damage i was like o_0. I trained with him in the Omega Dungeon... I remember the hardest creature to catch on FFX was the cactuar

May I point out my Tidus had max strength, so each hit was 99,999 helped by having his ultimate weapon

FF X was my first Final Fantasy game, and first jRPG, and I loved FF X-2, XII and then the Kingdom Hearts games and other jRPGs. I have now moved to playing FF VII on my PSP, it's awesome, I did prefer Crisis Core because that was just amazing, and while the graphics do hurt a little, the underlying gameplay is good enough and it was cheap!
