It was a great game to watch. I couldn't believe it when USA was up 2-0 in the first half. It would have been their first Fifa confederation cup tournament win. Of course they couldn't hold on against (IMO) the best international team in the world right now.

Yeah i know i couldn't believe it aswell, also same thing happend against Spain.

I watched the whole game. It sure was amazing. But we dominated since the start. They just took advantage of a flaw in our defense twice. By the second half, the team fixed it, so we completely dominated the rest of the game.

I can't believe people still play soccer.  Daniel Tosh said it best:

"But soccer is the most popular sport on the planet.

Yeah, thanks to third world countries.  You spend all day in a mud hut squatting flies and I guarantee the idea of kicking a ball in a huge grass field will sound like the greatest pastime ever!"

France, England, Germany, Spain and Italy aren't third world countries.....

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

o man not this again. I can name 3rd world countries who play all sports.

Football is the most popular sport amongst developed counties. Even if there wernt any 3rd world countries football would still be the most popular.

Also "soccer" is the fastest growing sport in America. David Beckham must have had a great influence, either that or more Mexians are coming into the US. lol

Every hours I spend playing Sacred2 makes it more evident how badly I miss Diablo 2 and Diablo 3.

Sacred 2 doesn't hold a candle to those games but still keeps me addicted....

I'm psyched for Diablo 3. Diablo 3 and Starcraft II are going to draw me away from my PS3 quite a bit next year. This year Left 4 Dead 2, Alan Wake, and Splinter Cell Conviction will take 'trophies' time away. I just picked up the original Left 4 Dead on PC last week and I can't get enough.

Also signed up for a Windows Live account for PC game achievements, but someone already took my PSN name!! Apparently they're not using it either because it has 0g. What a bummer. Instead I will have to be known as HideoK2 there.

I didn't say they were, but there are far more people in the third world.  And they like soccer.  Hence it is the most popular sport on the planet.

Of course it is.  When no one likes a sport, any growth in it could be considered "fastest."  If one person likes it, and suddenly 5 more do, that's a 500% growth, whereas if 70 million people like it, and suddenly 5 more do, that growth is insignificant.

Even if you keep third world countries out Soccer is far more popular among advanced countries than Football which is a US only sport...

Main reason soccer isn't more popular in the US is that it doesn't have breaks every 2 minutes for commercials...(Thank god!).

Heck the number of people watching the superbowl every year is very small compared to the number of people watching the world soccer cup every 4 years...

For all that football is popular in the US by the way, how many people actually play it ? very very few....

There's over 250k french that play soccer in clubs during any given year...

Pfft.  As usual the French lose.  As of 2002, Soccer was played by more than 15 million kids in the US.  That's almost 25% of the French total population.

Ah, soccer, so simple and boring, even your 5 year olds can play!

my native sport that is english FOOTBALL is best understood if you play or get involved in the game lol
whats the french got to do with football lol they steal there national players from the ivory coast (nice little fact for you)
of course 3rd world countries will play football more they get a ball from some chariety and there you go a game that costs only a ball lol :)

i like all sport so lets get back onto the subject of trophies girls :P

crap i think i needa restart my infamous hard play through. i havent played it in a while, but i read that u cant change it to hard right away n u needa wait for the game to do it for you. i think i changed it right away so thats annoying. thats like the stupidest thing ever, it shouldnt let u changed the difficulty prior to the game deciding it for you if it will fuck up the trophy system

In my opinion soccer is crap.. i played a year in high school and it just isnt anything compared to football... i find it very boring
