I refuse to play young kids games and especially really girly games. I'd absolutely never play a game like Hanna Montana. A game like that would be such a stain on my trophy card. Frankly, I would be embarrassed.

I plan to plat Killzone 2. Won't be trying for 1% this week though. Had to work OT really late 3 days in a row and I've been way too tired to even turn on my PS3. Man, that's when I know I'm having a rough week!! Also I've only cleared the first couple levels on Elite so far.

Thanks for the Tomb Raider review. I haven't played a Tomb Raider game since TR1, TR2, and TR3 was the last I played on PS1. I didn't even try the PS2 ones because they got poor reviews. I did however play a PC demo for Legend and I remember having fun. I was relieved about how much less stiff the controls were for making jumps, turning and shooting.

I kind of like your idea about the ratings for members. Its just that it would involve so much more work to update not to mention there are difficulty ratings on joytsiq that everyone wouldn't agree with.

The thought that this would recognize and bring more respect to certain members of the league for those getting platinums in harder games is definitely appealing. Then again people kind of already know who is doing what just based on reading posts and checking the individual game platinums list every week. Still a little something extra like a best platinum member of the week or month to make them stand out a bit more would be nice. Not sure there is a fair way to achieve this.

I guess the facebook app wouldn't help Arcturus out much, but it could be another cool way to show off your trophy card. Creating a popular facebook app would look good on a job resume too! I say go for it if you have the drive and skills and let the league know when its ready for testing.

I agree with HideoK on the Hanna Montana game. lol I love collecting trophies but i have my standards on certain games.

The thing about the "harder games" is different to some people though. I mean if ur not good at playing games that require a lot of online play and you don't enjoy then who is to say u play easy games when its all you can really plat? With someone being recognized as having "harder plats" is doing nothing but kinda pointing out "hey i'm a better gamer than you"

And nothing against any of the people plattin KZ2 but do you honestly think it makes u better than the other people on this site because you platted a harder game?

I only don't play games like COD5/4 and Killzone because i hated Killzone's demo and i can't stand wargames like COD. It's a personal opinion. I never have bought a wargame and never will as they're all similar in my eyes. I know people will say different, but that's their opinion.
Bizzle hated X-Blades and Shaun White Snowboarding, yet i'm finding them fun. Sometimes, it's not as people can't plat harder games, it's a personal choice. Some slate me for playing Hannah Montana, i had more fun on it that i had with COD, that's not just as i got a platinum, it's just a personal choice.
Yeah, some people can't platinum some games, but most of my mates aren't picking up harder games purely because they don't like them. As a group, my mates don't like wargames (excluding Warhawk). Yet we all picked up Wipeout, my mate is trying to platinum that, he even thought of going for the Warhawk platinum but, just because he doesn't platinum Killzone or COD, doesn't mean he a terrible gamer.
So there's two sides, those can't and those who don't want to. Those who can't aren't worse gamers than the ones who can or don't want to. Maybe it's a certain type of game they're great in. I'm terrible at flying games but my best genre is probably a wrestling game. I'm still gonna pick up HAWX, even if i can't do it i shall try my hand at it. I won't platinum it as i can't. Yet i don't play COD as i don't want to. It's all a mix. You can't say 'You don't play ______ as you're rubbish. (Unless they have 1 trophy or they're as i like to call them a 'One Zero'. It means Level 1 0 Trophies.)
End of the day each trophy gone for, each platinum aimed at is due to personal choice.

@ jboy if your playing games you dont like or enjoy then why are you playing them at all? i dont speak for goodfella but i think thats the angle he was aiming for....

your a good gamer but its all about the trophys sometimes with you for example x-blades, you hardly played and wanted all the answers to the trophys that if you just played would of realised.

so with this accomplished cod record i can count on you for cod:md 2 on my team :)

the only real way you can say a trophy is hard is when its online and you compete with real people to obtain it (without boosting)

The day resets at 7 or 8 pm EST, not sure exactly

Typically when I go to bed I am like 1000 for the day and when the day really ends I end up 1900 or 2k.

Most europeans players do their score at a time that would correspond to morning/afternoon US time.

@ail dont focus on the daily table its pointless lol just set a target to achieve for the week table and keep checking how many people are registered for the week. aim to hit between 7-8 thousand and you should be safe as loads of people by the weekend start up. last week the top 1% was people finishing in the top 1530 for the week :)
