Now that PS3's generation is just about all wrapped up what are your top 5 games of the generation?

Mine is very close between The Last of Us and Uncharted 2 at #1. I put way more time into Uncharted 2's multiplayer so I might give Uncharted 2 the edge overall. Third I might go with God of War III. Taking down all the Gods and Titans was so epic even though Kratos just mostly yells "ZEUUUUUUUS!" the whole game. haha. 4th I would say Metal Gear Solid 4, and 5th - Resident Evil 5. I know most people would say RE5 doesn't belong, but I had such an awesome time playing the co-op with one of my best friends. Interesting, if I switch the last of us to #1- then #2,3,4,5 all line up with a numbered sequel.

And because I have a hard time stopping at 5... 6) Uncharted 3, 7) Portal 2, 8) Fallout 3, 9) Bioshock, 10) Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Yep, thats right (4) Naughty Dog games in my top 10!

Honorables mentions to GTA5, RE5 ( which I played a LOT), Uncharted 2 , Demon's Soul and Heavy Rain.
My top 5 selection is mostly story driven. I will remember Shephard and the choices I made for a long time. So will I remember Morrigane in Dragon Age.

It seems Bioware was the winner for me...

And this gen is far from over for me as I have more than a dozen games in my backlog and I have yet to purchase Last of Us ( and I will get Dark Souls 2).

I think Heavy Rain would be at #11 and Mass Effect 2 #12. I'm in the same boat where I prefer great story driven single player games over competitive multiplayer games.

I never did play Mass Effect 3... originally waited on it due to mixed reviews and ended up selling my limited edition copy on eBay. Might have to still give it a go! Also haven't played a big RPG in a while, but Witcher 3 on PS4 certainly has my attention. The world looks amazing.

And finally one competitive multiplayer game I am getting very excited for however on PS4 is Evolve. Feels like a fresh take on online deathmatch and the monsters look really fun to play as. Pumped for Destiny too.

I still haven't unboxed Batman Arkham City...Frigging PS+ giving me good free games every month is killing me. It has to stop !
