July was kind of vacation time here in Brasil... so I used a lot of time .

MGS2 is more time consuming than hard... Extreme is not that hard (just the Metal Gear Rex boss was really trouble because even Solidus I beat without take hit)... for VR Missions I used video guides when they get complex... I found Street Fight V and WipEout HD far way harder.

MGS3 is a easy one... ans fast compared with MGS2... got it last night... funny because I was really sad because the trophy for all snakes did popup but the King of the Jumgle not in the last boss... so I started to guess I will need another playthrough but when the last status screen showed after all credits the trophies did popup... after all I forget a easy face camo, the trophy to kill Ocelot in the Virtuous and to kill The End before the fight... I take less than 30 minutes do make a speed run to get theses (I'm glad all camo holds for the new game+).

WTF emblems in MGS4.

I will have to play over 10 times and one of them doing magic with no kill, alert, continue, heal, special item... everything in less than 5 hours at The Boss Extreme difficult.

MGS2 hard? Are Konami kidding with me?

Anybody got Platinum in this game?

Have not tried any of the MGS series yet but I am about to Plat Far Cry 3 its a great game but it might just be a little to big for its own good.

You can do them all on easy difficulty if I remember right aside from big boss.  My recommendation is play through once on normal going for an easy rank, during act 5 buy as much tranq ammo from drebin as you can but make sure you get these three weapons before trying BB rank- Solar Gun, Rail Gun, and M82A2.  Then use New Game+ and switch to The Boss Extreme.  Save at the start of every single new area and quit/reload if you get spotted or accidently kill someone, and just so you know, you can lethal weapon kill the machine stage of the beauty fights (the power weapons let you cheese most of them).

The solar gun useful against frog attack on Big Boss run, instant full stun Vamp, and to quickly full stun the beauty human form (make sure you recharge it in sunlight), M82A2 you use to kill the machine part of Octopus fight (you can lethal weapon the machine parts it ok) and Rail Gun will let you kill Raven in 2-4 shots, also good to instant kill Gecko in MGS1 missile area when it exits lift.  Might need buy the M82A2 or Rail Gun during NG+, I forget.

Maybe save Big Boss rank for third playthrough if want to stock up on drebin points.  Once you got it though you can use stealth camo and infinite bandana for other playthroughs.

I'm doing a story playthrough first (no specific emblem)... after that I will for over 35 hours and all the collectives (I have a lot of time to get everything)... that's my plan for now.

Why?  The games are still good. Its with Ninja gaiden 3 everything went down hill and we won´t probably se Ninja gaiden anymore.


I died a million times on path of Master Ninja before getting good enough, I cheesed the hard missions by just twirling while someone else did all the work.  I'd never do the NGS missions by myself and needing atually fight, especially on a Vita.

The controls in this game are abismal. Wasn't even able to walk in a proper circle lol.

Also Jak and Daxter controls on the Vita are very inaccurate. I guess porting PS2 games to the Vita isn't easy (or they just don't care)
