Is Dead Space 3 good? I've heard it sucked, but I wasn't sure if I was interpreting what I was reading correctly.

So far I'm digging it. Playing it in co-op and started on Impossible difficulty for a challenge and turned off revivals as well.

Currently on chapter 4, and its so easy to die in 2-3 hits which makes every enemy ambush that much scarier & intense. But they give you lots of health packs and ammo and checkpoints are frequent so that its pretty forgiving in that way. I also heard as you get better weapons & armor later on that Impossible mode becomes a breeze. The only challenging mode might be survial mode where you don't get any item drops and have to craft all ammo and health at a bench. Hardcode mode won't be as challenging as long as you backup your save from time to time.

Anyone think there is a chance of a Vita price cut announcement at the PlayStation event on February 20th? I don't see there being many opportunities to announce one before E3, and I don't think they can afford to wait that long for a price cut.

I'm really tempted to buy a Vita, but I've been holding off as I think there is a price cut (on the Vita and memory cards) around the corner.

They lowered sales projections again, I doubt would do this if planned a price cut.  Memory cards seriousy need a price cut, a 32GB card in UK is almost 40% the price of Vita itself...

I may pick up one of the bundles regardless of a price cut. I'll just wait for another sale. Retailers here seem to put them on sale for $199 for a few days, every 4-6 weeks. I will definately hold off on purchasing a memory card until a price cut on them. There is no way I'm paying $99 for a 32GB card.

Anybody more receiving that?

Ironic, considering we have Killzone 3 ranked as 2 stars when the 2nd was 4. Surely more than 0.01% of people have the platinum... One out of what, every 10,000 people who played it?

On psnprofiles.com, of the PSN profiles registered on the site:

13.35% of those who have played Killzone 3 have earned the platinum trophy vs 3.83% of those who have played Killzone 2 have earned the platinum trophy

Well I'm pretty sure the guys that registers in these sites are minority.

There is a chance the Vita might get a price cut on the 20th, but I think news like that isn't appropriate then....but on the 25th when they have that Destination PlayStation there is a pretty good chance as that might be a Vita centric event. If you do end up grabbing a bundle, just hold off on larger memory until a cut or a great deal comes around. That's what I'm doing.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

So according to that site, 23,921 people have gotten platinum.  Even if every account was registered on that site, based on that 0.01% number, 239 million different PSN accounts have played Killzone 3.
