Forums - Sony Discussion - VGChartz Playstation Trophy League

I think I've purchased about 9 retail PS3 games so far this year. If we include gifts, I expect that number to jump by about 50% by the end of the year :)

@chenguo - I typically play and finish games 1 by 1. However, I did just take a break from Mass Effect 2 to play and finish Uncharted 3.

I usually play them 1 by 1, sometime two at a times if one game requires more than one playthrough or has a multiplayer component than I really like ( like right now I am playing Uncharted 3 and Skyrim, and actually spending a bunch of time on U3 multiplayer despite the fact that no trophies are related to it).

Edit : Skyrim platinum is going to take me a while as I am actually playing 2 characters, a lvl 17 warrior Nord and a lvcl 9 Khajit dual wielding thief..

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

playing resistance 3 on superhuman, chapter 15. nice game, but I preferred resistance 2. much bigger in all things (enemies, history, single player, etc)

and hale was a a much better protagonist than joe. REAAAAALLY better!

same thing here. a sport or a fight game it´s ok, but that´s it.

I like that I started out as a warrior who would cast a spell with his off hand, and then I joined the thieves guild and I can still do that without having to revamp my character or anything.  Game seems to allow nice progression for people who just want to do everything.

I'm up to 8 games bought just this weekend alone (couldn't pass Alice and Bulletstorm for like $30 w/ tax from Best Buy). Just retail alone, I probably bought around 30 retail games or so.

I bought 5 this weekend...

Assassin's Creed Revelations - $35 at BestBuy when I figured there were no other games I was going to buy

Mass Effect 2, Alice, and Madden 12 for $50 total when I took advantage of a $10 discount code that shouldn't have worked at the EA store

Killzone 3 Helghast edition - $25 at BestBuy... because it was only $25

Amazon had the Ico collection for 25$ earlier but I passed on it, my backlog is big enough as it is...

Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions ($10), Lego Pirates and Lego Star Wars III ($30 for both) from Gamefly. The latter two I got with the $12 off coupon when you buy 2 used games.

Sonic Generations ($30) from Gamestop.

I picked up Bulletstorm ($8) and Alice ($20 I think) from Best Buy earlier.

Got Dark Souls ($35) and ICO/SotC Collection ($25) from Amazon.

Not a bad haul at all, in my opinion.

Now all you need is a system to play all that on :P

I'm kinda surprised at all games you guys have gotten this year as my retail total is a whopping four! Although I haven't bought anything for BF week yet but I would still like to get Ico and AC:R

That will most likely be my next purchase, as I should have the money for it sometime in December. I've been saving up for the Uncharted 3 bundle, so it works out that I'll get a free month of PS+, so I'll be able to get my saves.
