Phew, looks like the 6 bronze trophies that I got all week was enough to hold you off. haha I thought I could hold you off until the end of the year, but not when your getting 203 points in a freaking week!!!! You came out of nowhere to be 6 points back. Nice job.

Still got a way to go to pass me in Platinum points though  117 - 72.

Okay some random thoughts:

1) Looks like it's official that the Next Generation of consoles is starting in 2012 with the Xbox "720". PS4 might not hit until 2013, well that's my prediction at least.

Your right I shouldn't have called it official. I didn't read that first sentence carefully. But the rumor mill is certainly pointing towards 2012 for the next generation to start. I'd say Edge magazine is a reliable source.

People are speculating the new Xbox will be available by the end of 2012.

Convenient that they are suddenly jumping on a new gen right as PS3 is about to overtake them.  It's like they'd rather give up on current gen just so they can get a good lead on the next one.

Well my aim is to get 100 Platinums with the beloved PS3 before moving onto the next generation! Hopefully there are enough decent games (in the time to come) to fill the spots - I thought the console life of this generation was only just past halfway!

I have been playing 99.9% of the time Skyrim on PC (and loving every minute of it )

I only turn my PS3 on ocasionally to play some MW3.

And I still want to get Saints Row The Third next week.

@Esquoret: I doubt I will get 100 platinums before this generation is over, but I'd expect to see my trophy card continue onto the PS4 so I can reach 100 plats there.

@Tbone: Just got Uncharted 3 Plat. I'm barely hanging onto my lead over you on the platinum leaderboard.
