Also thanks Arcturus for the update.

I have been gaming a lot less recently. Been playing some computer games and other stuff.

Not to mention that EDF is the only game I play and it will take a billion years to plat it

PS - Anyone played the Resistance 3 Beta? I did. Its good, but I feel like there is nothing special about it.

My multiplayer game this year will be Battlefield 3 (maybe a bit of Modern Warfare 3)

It doesn't take a billion year to plat it ....

I'm up to 82% of trophies now.

I'm not going to plat it because of my 2 weeks vacations but without it I think I would have been pretty close to the plat by the time Resistance 3 releases ( I can see getting the plat by that time if I worked a little on it).

PS : I managed to reach Wave 7 solo on survival mission 1 and 4. No way I can beat with those waves though :((

Yeah, it doesn't take a billion years to plat it, but it will definitely be a grind. Daddy Warbugs, Scavenger and Survive-O-Rama are probably the three biggest grinds. Daddy Warbugs requires you to farm quite a lot of credits to buy all the weapons, since you need an average of about 2 million per armor to get all their weapons and you only need 793,000 or so to get the max level for each armor. Scavenger is only annoying because it's random and it takes a few runs of a level in order to get even one new weapon, so it might take upwards of even an hour once you get closer to the 107th weapon. Survive-O-Rama only takes a good grind to clear, since you need to clear 500 total waves of Survival Mode, so it'll either be boring as you grind them yourself or grind them online.

At 20k or so per run of 1-1 on Inferno, which takes like 5-7 minutes, it takes 25-35 minutes to get 100k. So you need an extra 1.2 million credits per armor, so it'd probably take 5-7 hours to get the credits for just one armor (by my calculations at least). You're probably looking at 15-20 hours or so to grind the credits to buy all of the weapons (considering you probably bought quite a few when leveling up the armors).

It's not much but you do get credits doing survival mode that you can use to buy new weapons for your armor...

Depending on the mission you'll get between 2 and 5k for 3-5 waves...

Survival isn't that boring so far because every attempt I try to go as far as I can, i don't do easy waves and then just die.

I've already done close to 150 waves and it didn't take that long...

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

Additional games I will buy :

Do you know if RE4 HD is compatible with Move?

I don't think so. I haven't read anything about it being Move compatible and Sony recently updated their Move compatible games list on their blog. RE4 isn't in the coming next section.

That's too bad. I don't think I've used my Move controller since Dead Space Extraction.

I think motion gaming's just about run its course... It seems makers of serious games tack it on when Sony/MS asks them to, and games specifically made to utilize motion controls usually lack in other categories. All in all, there's been few games 1) for which the definitive way to play is with motion and 2) a great game on its own right.

I've never played a game with Kinect or Move, but from what I've read KZ3's come close to pulling off 1). I'm still on the fence about getting a Move, but as of now I just see no compelling reason to get one.

Yeah, I feel like most of the time from what I read, it's just tacked on to "core games" and games designed from the ground up with them are lacking. I was considering on getting the Move bundle PS3 for my new one, but I may just ultimately go with the Infamous 2 bundle instead.

I know it's not a lot but I've only had the PS3 for a few months.

The games I have at the moment are:

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Gran Turismo 5

LittleBigPlanet 2

Infamous 2

I intend on getting for this year:

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

F1 2011

RAGE (releases on my birthday!)

On the maybe list for this year:

Resistance 3

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Dead Island

By the end of the year I should have way more trophies.
