hey guys if i upgrade my ps3 hardisk, what is the maximum recommended hardsik capacity and what is the recommended speed so everything can run smoothly?
another thing is once i upgrade and stick in the new harddisk i will have to create the profiles again right? and what about my save files? if i copied them to my new harddisk wont that comprmise the trophies?
for exaample if i copy an LBP save file then i run the game it will tell me that i will have to delete that save file in order to get trophies...isnt that right?

If you want to *see* the trophies in your list after you swap drives, you'll have to start up the game so it resyncs.

Here's the process I followed:

1.  Bought a 400 GB WD MyPassport drive
2.  Use PS3 backup utility to backup contents of PS3 drive to new MyPassport drive (I didn't have another external drive).  Ensure trophy data has been synched.
3.  Copy data from backup drive onto PC hard drive.
4.  Bust open MyPassport drive enclosure.
5.  Follow procedure to swap hard drives.
6.  Stuff old PS3 drive into MyPassport controller and make it look almost good as new.
7.  Copy backup data from PC to old PS3 drive.
8.  Restore data into PS3 via backup utility.
9.  Start up all games that had trophies so it resyncs.
10.  Never run into space problems again.

Anyone knows if Afro Samurai supports trophies? I want to play an action game.

Well every games are supposed to support trophies right now ... So I guess it's a yes ^^

From what I've heard, it should be supporting trophies, but I haven't heard anything about a trophy list yet. That's weird considering the Achievement list already popped up online...

Are you sure Kylie, cause I heard that trophy support became compulsary this year.

Afro Samurai has no trophies.

Is there a link confirming this? there wasn't any info on yahoo search engine.

@yl_ksa
I have a 300Gb, 7200RPM. All it did was make me ps3 a little faster and installing game faster. If you buy a 7200RPM HD make sure its runs cool, because some 7200RPM HD put off alot of heat.

Bah...I have to wait for the system update before I can begin the weekly update. Is the system update really slow for anyone else?

^Runs to check PS3
