I finally got Uncharted 1 platinum. This is the 3rd time i have it lol.

Confirmed Crysis 2 hardest game to plat. It will take u 6 months lol.

About 30 mins away from getting my LBP2 Plat.

 Also just downloaded Alien Breed 1 and 2 in the sale and got myself  The Sly collection.

  So will hopefully be getting myself some easy platinums, which will be a nice change after some of the games I played, although I am also interested in Sacred 2 so that will likely be my next after getting these 5 games out of the way.

Thanks. Yeah it was much harder than Dead Space 1 due to Hardcore mode only allowing you to save 3 times. I think I lost about 8-9 hours of gameplay total from numerous deaths and restarting from the beginning after using my first 2 saves way too soon.

Yeah like Ail says the Force Gun really isn't that good in Dead Space 2. Maybe they weakened it... The secondary attack is better than the primary push.

As for the part with the regenerating necro, yeah that part was a pain on Hardcore too. Although I was careful and never let him get me. I would  shoot him with the contact beam until he would be crawling and then I'd send him into stasis freeze and move forward.

Upgrading stasis is really a key to survival in Hardcore. One of the first things I upgraded was my Stasis energy so I can have 4 shots and longer duration which makes a huge difference. Getting the Rig health fully upgraded is key too so you can minimize the one hit deaths. Seems some enemies get stronger later on in Ch.13 where they can kill you in one hit without all 4 health upgrades. I also used mainly the plasma cutter and contact beam later on. The flamethrower is a good choice too because like you said it makes the enemies always drop items. I missed out on a bunch of drops other times when bodies disappear before I can loot them because there way too many onscreen.

I did  play a few hours of GT5 this week end and finally got my 60th gold licence.

Still a long way to go for me though, still have to gold AMG and 2 events in the grand tour and then the X1 when I unlock those...

I bet it will be hard just because it will be so boring that you can't put up with it.  The first Crysis bored me to tears within 10 minutes.
