I have all those and more in the Ultimate collection.  Why would anyone buy these $5 each?

Buy? It's free for PSN Plus users.

Also, I'm assuming that each game will have their own trophy list, which means more trophies for everyone to gather.

In the collection there are just one trophy per game.

Played it on PC before (pirated downloaded version). But such a fun game, so very happy that it has come to PS3, bought it day 1 to support George Fan (maker) and Laura Shigihara (awesome half-Japanese composer girl)! A platinum would have been super sweet, but oh well.

What you mean you have to do Demon's Souls again? Did you order a different region copy this time?

My PS3 has been stolen in a burglary so I lost ALL of my SAVES !!!

 

Sorry I thought you meant that you already have a platinum, and just wanted to play again and somehow go for another platinum (hence game of different region comes to mind). But now obviously you were probably in the middle of a playthrough and having lost your save file you need to start from scratch.

Eg. I'm lvl 12 39%... to reach lvl 13 0% I need one of options below (or any combined):

- 3 Platinum; 12 Gold; 40 Silver; 138 Bronze; (3x Retail games)
- 0 Platinum; 15 Gold; 30 Silver; 176 Bronze; (15x PSN games)
- 27 Platinum; 0 Gold; 0 Silver; 0 Bronze; (Just Platinum)
- 0 Platinum; 0 Gold; 0 Silver; 326 Bronze; (Just Bronze)

For the GT5ers/ex-GT5ers:

Patch 1.06 hit, exp/race has gone up a lot. For example, if I grind Dream Car Indy for 15 hours I can go from lvl 38.5 to lvl  40; before this needed two 24 hours of Le Mans races.

With the new patch, it *may* be possible to only have to race each race once to lvl 40, if that's any incentive for ppl to jump into GT5. Be warned though, that'd still take 100  hours, before you even think about license tests and special events and B-spec and getting 1000 cars.

 

edit: overestimated experience... ETA is 25 hours to get my last level and a half.

So after I started over on Hardcore mode in Dead Space 2 I was able to make it all the way to Chapter 13 before I died for the first time.

Unfortunately, I used my 2nd save near the end of Chapter 11 before the elevator. So I'm back to 11.

I'd like to save at the end of Ch. 13 for my 3rd and final save.

Go Hideo, almost there! Will be highly satisfying once you've cleared it~

By the way, what chapter is the demo of DS2? The level with all the cryogenic freezing chambers.

Two more deaths on Hardcore mode...

One was on Chapter 13 where I got killed in one hit from one of the fast dark black Necromorphs. Got sent back to Ch. 11

And the most crushing blow was when I got all the way to the end of the game, beat the final boss... and died on the last flying section (went splat into some flying debris). Ughhh, it was literally the last piece of debris I had to dodge and than I would have beat the game on Hardcore!! 

So back to the middle of Ch.13 where I created my 3rd and final save. I'm going to practice that final flying section at least 5 times on my zealot playthrough before attempting hardcore again!
