oh, and congrats TBone, you´re my hero! LOL just hard platinuns hehe ^^

I´ll go for the WKC platinum as soon as I finish battlefield. My goal now is always be playing one mother f$%* hard/time consuming game to platinum just to balance things - I don´t know if balance is the right word in english hehe - so during the day I play regular games, and late night I concentrate in these hard platinums. I can say that is working just fine with battlefield hehe if EA does´t shut the servers the platinum will be mine, just a matter of time now.

So after taking a day off I started Dead Space 2 hardcore mode from the beginning last night and I made it all the way to beginning of chapter 8 (only using 1 save) right before the room I died last time. I didn't feel confident enough to keep going to chapter 9, plus I was getting tired. It was a 2 hour and 50 min session.

In so much better shape than my first attempt on hardcore. The first time I had used my 2nd save on the end of chapter 7 and my first save on chapter 5. That was a mistake. I'm going to aim to make it to at least chapter 11 before saving the 2nd time.

Actually, the level system stays exactly the same points required to go up 1% since level 12. It takes 6 points or equal to 1 gold trophy, 3 silver, or 6 bronze.

Is that the Transport Hub room where you have to wait for Ellie to open the door? That room has always caused me trouble.

Played it on PC before (pirated downloaded version). But such a fun game, so very happy that it has come to PS3, bought it day 1 to support George Fan (maker) and Laura Shigihara (awesome half-Japanese composer girl)! A platinum would have been super sweet, but oh well.

What you mean you have to do Demon's Souls again? Did you order a different region copy this time?

My PS3 has been stolen in a burglary so I lost ALL of my SAVES !!!

I have all those and more in the Ultimate collection.  Why would anyone buy these $5 each?

Also, I'm assuming that each game will have their own trophy list, which means more trophies for everyone to gather.

EDIT - The XBLA equivalents each have 12 achievements each (Golden Axe 2 is not on XBLA, though the first is), so that would be some decent incentive to pick them up over the Genesis Collection.
