So after taking a day off I started Dead Space 2 hardcore mode from the beginning last night and I made it all the way to beginning of chapter 8 (only using 1 save) right before the room I died last time. I didn't feel confident enough to keep going to chapter 9, plus I was getting tired. It was a 2 hour and 50 min session.
In so much better shape than my first attempt on hardcore. The first time I had used my 2nd save on the end of chapter 7 and my first save on chapter 5. That was a mistake. I'm going to aim to make it to at least chapter 11 before saving the 2nd time.
