Why must places be so tempting with deals on games? I bought Burnout Paradise (wanted it for a long time) and Dante's Inferno from Amazon, since they had a BOGO half off deal, although the selection was kind of slim. My backlog increases ever more...

Yeah, I got Green Day RB (for Dookie, of course! and that's it) and a DS game for the girlfriend.

Only problem with the Amazon sale is you could have gotten those games individually for cheaper in the past few months.  I got Dante's Inferno for $10 a few weeks ago.

Haha... no it isn't.  I'd certainly like to meet an average person from MIT that went to 20% of their classes, because it would be fun to ask them why they failed out.

And school in India is mostly a joke.  That's why they all come to the US to get their educations, and then head back home to work for pennies on the dollar.


That just shows you don't know much about India...

IIT is ranked among the best schools in the world...

Indian students that comes to study in the US are those that didn't get into IIT...

And Indian students in the US are among the best in in engineering...

Yep. At UCLA, a large portion of the CS and EE majors are Indian. I interned at Qualcomm this past summer/fall, and I'd say 40% of the engineers there were Indian, maybe even more.

Also true is the not studying in IIT thing. One of my friends did undergrad at IIT; he studied his ass off in high school, then at IIT all he did was play WoW.

Because i personally only made an account for the numbers and use the forums as an added benefit but now with the inclusion of VGpro i will find myself coming here less and less


I mostly stick about this site for this thread.  I never put much faith in the numbers anyway.  If not for this thread I would have been perma gone after the first opinion someone didn't like got me a ban.

 

Heh I think 95% of my posts in the past 6 months/year have been in this thread. Too much of the rest is people arguing how much game X will sell over game Y, when of course they're all blindly guessing. Not interested.

And good luck with that job thing, hope you find something soon.

And Record of Agarest War platinum is mine !
About time, now I can switch to easier and shorter games ...

 

I think I might do a little GT5 tomorrow and then start DeadSpace 2...

So, how was Record of Agarest War? I'm definitely looking forward to buying it (now it's $30) whenever I get an upgrade to my HDD.

Also, switching to easier/shorter games, then mentioning GT5 right after? Such a joker... :P

Think I might start Assassins Creed Brotherhood tonight, have had it rented for around 2 months and only put it in my ps3 to install.  Also need to finish Dead Space 2 (only on chapter 6)  good thing I have the week off from work!

I'm kinda glad I didn't pay full price for LBP2.  I have no real desire to platinum it.  I'm pretty much over the novelty of it at this point.
