Oh ok then fair enough.

Platinum'd Tomb Raider Underworld, i was able to platinum 4 games this week.

I should have AC:Brotherhood platinum by the next update.

Almost done with the Multiplayer , still a way to go with single player though.

Weirdly enough I am enjoying the MP a lot more than the single player...

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

@Tbone

Another crazy article about NGIII titled: "Ninja Gaiden III Saved or Ruined"

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/114/1145899p1.html

I read somewhere else too that you would feel the kill more in NGIII. Like when you are cutting your sword through an enemies bone their is resistance and the dual shock vibrates as you are trying to cut through. Their is more weight to your actions. Enemies are less like butter. It sounds kind of disturbing actually, cutting through bones that is.

Edit: Oh yeah it was the last article i posted, that I read that. Ironic that we were just talking about this game being made easier about a week before these stories came out.

Speaking of easy ^  something not easy at all from what I've heard so far is the Dead Space 2 Hardcore mode.

In case you haven't heard you have to start the game over with none of your weapons and armor. Okay that's fine...

But the real kicker for me is that you can only save your game, only save your progress 3 times throughout the whole story mode to clear it on Hardcore. So for a 10 hour game you have to save in at least 3.5 hour sessions.

On top of that you could be killed in as little as 2 hits on that mode. It would suck to be 3-4 hours in and not save only to die from 2 quick hits and have to start all the way back at the beginning of the game again. Wow. That would be so frustrating, talk about hardcore....

Hardcore mode in Dead Space 2 is going to add even more fear to the game! I remember in the early resident evil games 1-3, besides conserving ammo, part of the fear was saving ribbons (for limited saves) and reaching a typewriter to save your game. If I hadn't saved in a while I would get even more frightened rounding every new corner.

I guess if you play the game a few times and memorize the placements of enemies/patterns of bosses, then it shouldn't be too bad. You'd also have to know when to fight and when to run (if you can in Dead Space games, since I never played the first). Otherwise, though, I think being able to save only 3 times during the whole game is kind of stupid and it sounds frustrating.

Ugh, I'm addicted to Modern Combat: Domination, a PSN game. The worst part is, if you want to 100% the trophies, you're looking at a very, very long grind; it'd be like 80-100 hours at least to get all the trophies. The longest trophy is getting to level 72, which after 10 hours or so, I'm only level 15. It's a fun little game, that I was turned off by the demo, but caved and bought the full game anyways and I'm having a ton of fun, which I guess is because you can play the whole thing with only bots.

If Dead Space 2 is anything like the first game just upgrade the force gun and own whatever is stupid enough to attack you.

Besides I'm sure starting a new chapter at least will provide checkpoint.  The DLC probably has a huge armour boosting Rig like the first game did.

Actually that is something I forgot to mention about Hardcore mode... there are no checkpoints!! :-0

Quoted from IGN's review about Hardcore mode... "If you're truly devoted like myself, there's even a mode known as "Hardcore," and it's nothing less than sadistic. The enemies are at their toughest, the supplies are limited, there are no checkpoints, and if you die, you restart from your last save. Oh, and you can only save three times in the entire game. That's crazy talk, but damn, do I want to do it."

If anyone is looking to upgrade to a slim (I'd recommend it, since the phatties are all going to die from something or another, in my opinion) , Amazon Warehouse deals keeps posting various models for cheap.  They are officially "Used" but I'm hearing they are generally untouched (returned items, damaged boxes, etc).

Couple notables:

160 GB Black Friday Bundle (w/ Uncharted 2, Pixeljunk Shooter, Karate Kid blu-ray) - $215.99

320 GB Move Bundle - varies from $276 to $318

I should clarify that they are not always available.  They pop in and out from time to time (there were a bunch last night, for instance).
