Yeah, I could see that being difficult and messy to code....and I don't think it's worth looking into yet until we determine a) if a new rating system is needed, and b) how the new rating system would work. Even if we decide to go with the ratings at ps3trophies.org, it may not be necessary to update the ratings here each week if we continue with a less precise rating. (i.e. a rating out of 5, or 10 with no decimals).

Have you looked at the UK site (http://uk.playstation.com/)? You have to log in to view trophy details for those on your PSN friends list. They present their content in a different format. Not sure if this helps at all.

Thanks for the suggestion. So, you're saying that we could award stars to a game based on platinum requirements like total play time, if multiple play throughs are required, difficulty, etc?

Example: Uncharted

Total Play time >10 hour = 1 star
+
Multiple Play throughs = 1 star
+
Is it difficult? No = 0 stars
=
2 stars Overall

Is that how it would work? If not, please elaborate with some examples. I see some problems, but interesting idea.

Made GR8 yesterday and did my first rebirth !

Now going through NewGame+ to grab all the GR7 and GR8 armor...

Time consuming is a + for me lol...

Do you quest online with people at all? Because every time I check to see where you are in-game, it says it can't find you. I'm assuming if you quest online with people, you choose the MP option when selecting the quests from the world map.

Anyways, once I get some armor/weapons together for when I rebirth back to 35 and get to GR9, I'll start rebirthing to get the 8 skills mastering trophy. I'm sitting at 26/50 quests done with a S rank, but some of the quests are very tricky to get S rank on, but the DLC quests provide backups in case I can't do the main ones.

so much discussion for the rating of one game.... so much drama!

for each game someone will give a different star depending of his abilitys. of course there are the wipeout, GTA, ninja gaiden sigma 2, street fighter 4 likes... but even so, I know people on my list who got the plat in SF4 and would rate it a 2-3.. I´d rate the rock band or any other musical games a 5 star. It´s an average. if it´s one more or one less, things can change, be adjusted with time and more people playing the game... it´s not like arcturus put a 5 star on hannah montana or 1 star in guitar hero metallica.

geez people. trophies, I mean... the stars linked to your plats in the league = real business.

Yesterday I just did a lot of soloing because I wanted to get to 50 and rebirth..

Playing Bioshock 2 and loving it, although I screwed myself over with the research photos and didnt realize the thuggish splicers didnt really appear for the second half of the game...oh well. Was going to play a second time anyways.

I looked at it about the same time I was looking at the new US site.  If memory serves it used similar methods to keep me from getting the right data.

Just Cause 2 is a boatload of fun. I doubt i will platinum it but it is the best game i have played that has released in 2010.
