Well we have to know how the challenges are aswell, i hope it will be atleast a 3 star plat. Wonder how the 1000 hit combo will be.

It may be a 3 star because you have to beat the game on Titan mode.

I guess all 2 stars would be 1 stars aswell

I don't think the difficulty ratings are only the difficulty of the game. If i were rating a game I would look at difficulty and the approx time to plat. Some easy trophy games could be long as hell which(imo) would up the rating
But anyways... GoWIII trophies look tough(Challenge of Olympus, Titan Mode) and I'm just assuming cuz of GoW and GoWII's challenges and God Mode

Im only going to reply to the games i have played. It seems like the difficulty is base on game play and then the amount of time it takes to get platinum. Example Fallout 3 gameplay 1 star + 1 star for time. Maybe the league should take a vote on not considering time being a difficulty. BUT only if Arcturus wants to take the vote.

Assasins Creed 2- I agree its just a grind. 1 star

Bioshock 1- since you can save at any point. 2 star

Call of Duty Classic- Was a bitch for me to plat. in since you cant get hit. I like the 4 stars but i can see it being a 3 star.

Call of Duty: World at War- should be higher than MW2 just because of all those dam nades.

Dark Void- Its just a grind. 1 star

Fallout 3-read above. 1 star

Trine- 1 star

Wheelman- 2 star

These rating are just my opinion on the games ive played. Your rating system is better because it keeps everyone happy. lol Please keep up the good work and I appreciate all the hard work you have put into this thread.

I personally like most of ratings on here to me there quite fair because not everyone has to boost or jump straight into a guide

But i do agree if you use the methods above it does deserve to be lowered a point or two

Yeah, using a guide definitely makes a game's trophies easier, as in the case with games with a lot of collectibles (I think it would probably take like 20-30 more hours for Wheelman without using a map for the jumps and cat statues, for example). Also, sometimes boosting is the only option in some games with online trophies (i.e. the online Frodo trophy in LotR).

I think time should definitely be a factor in a game's difficulty rating. Take a look at something like Trivial Pursuit and Cross Edge, for examples. Trivial Pursuit is an easy game that only takes like 5-6 hours to plat (if you use Wikipedia/Google to look up the answers). Since Cross Edge doesn't have any difficulty-related trophies, the whole game can be done on Easy and it's not exactly hard to finish, but it can take anywhere from 100-150 hours to get the plat.

I ask this question, then, in regards to time. Would you rate White Knight Chronicles a 1-2 star game since it is said to be just a grind, and not difficult, while considering that most people right now are saying it might take anywhere from like 600 hours to even 1,000 hours to get the plat?

God of War II plat is mine! Found it to be much easier then the first game, even the Challenge of the Titans wasnt overly difficult and you are able to save unlike the first. Think I will start Heavy Rain now
