Somehow I think this thread will fail withint 5 minutes but it's worth a try!

So list a book and discuss it and the person below you has to discuss it as well then list his book and discuss and so on. No "Haven't read it" messages, if you haven't read it wait until a book you read comes up, unless the thread is really dying. Let's make this into a nice thread.

So to start it off, I'll just hold off the fantasy/sci-fi since I don't know how to forum is split so I will go with a neutral book:

The Count of Monte Cristo

One of my favorites, if not my favorite. At nearly 1500 pages it's a hefty book, but the pages turned very easily. Dumas sets up the scenario very well in the beginning and then plays through the story very masterfully. The character developement is thourough and very few other books can compare to it. The story itself is full of suspense and keeps you turning pages just so you can know what's the next part of the Count's plans and what complications will arise. Very enjoyable read over all, the only problem is that at times so many characters are into play that some people have been known to lose track of who is who, but I personally didn't into the problem. Highly recommended, but don't read anything but the full book, the abbreviations ruin the whole mood and excitement of the book.

Hmm this posts seems familiar for some reason I just can't put my hand on it even the opening quip is oddly potent in my mind.

Not exactly like this one but I created a whats your favorite book discussion yesterday and I opened with the same remark about how i didnt expect the thread to last.
Its not that I'm saying its a bad thread, I actually thinks its a good idea.

Ah, well I was looking more for a discussion than a top favorites, you can bash a book if you want for all I care. So join and and lets get an educated thread going!

Ok I haven't read the book above but hopefully the bump in replies will get more ppl in the discussion.

I should just change it so the people list one book and discuss it without having to discuss previous books.
