Forums - General - a question of epic proportions....

each and every day we are all faced with questions....so small and inconvient while others are epic and truth seeking. questions help give the questioner a better understanding of the questioney, and our natural curiosity is what drives us in asking these questions.

now the question i present to you all is one that is large in scale and has to do with everything you do. so without further ado i present you the question....

what is your favorite food?

yes...this question has been asked amany of times but nontheless it still packs a punch! my answer you may be wondering? well that is easy...the greatest food/dish out there is macoroni and cheese! as Dr.Seus once wrote...

I do like them in a box. I do like them with a fox. I do like them in a house. I do like them with a mouse. I do like them here or there. I do like them anywhere. I do like macoroni and cheese. I do like them, Sam-I-am.

so now i again pose the question to all of you....what is your favorite food?

depends, if i have my favorite food every day, it becomes average to me, like how my mom used to make rice or pasta every day, if we had pasta today tomorrow rice was on the menu, i like them both but they have become too common for me to make it my favorite.

right now my favorite is beef steak with some vegetables, and maybe with bread or something, i also like chapati with okra (google it if you don't know what it is) curry.

Asian food, in any shape or form.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Yea food is overrated. It's not like we actually need it or anything.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Right now it's cookies and cream ice cream, with a side of booze and vicodin.

But normally, I don't know... I guess (Hiroshima style) okonomiyaki. I miss it so damn much. Some day I'll have to move back there.

If I'm stuck in America, then it's lengua burritos from a taco truck.
