360 version won't have mods, though, so the PS3 version will be the best out of the 2.
the MAIN reason why it is coming to the ps3 first
they (the devs) were pissed at MS for saying NO FREE MODS on the 360 version.
which is why it is coming to PC and ps3 First...Free Mods avail on those versions
they are snubbing their noses at the 360 and releasing That version last

Halo does not look nearly good enough to be based on the Unreal Engine.
And since I can use mods on the PS3 version of UT3, I don't think I'll be getting the PC version. Mods make that game, and it is going to be awesome to have that flexibility on a console.

But it is...
I guess that Epic do not want some "MS treatment" in their business... so they are making a PS3 version, they are paying for the online service and making the users happy allowing the mods...
I know somebody said the opposite, but, does anybody think that there is going to be some restrictions on the mods running in the PS3???, you know, less ram...

No more restrictions than are placed on the PC version. When a modder makes a mod, they are restricted to what the engine gives them. Back when I created maps for Quake, I would try to make them as huge as possible, only to have to cut them back down because they weren't playable. Modders simply have to run the mods they make for the PS3 on the PS3 and see how they perform. As far as the RAM is concerned, I would say there will be very few mods that will actually have an impact on that. Even then, if you decide to run a mod that pushes the system to the edge, then you are taking that responsibility as a player.
It seems the mods need help with this forum. I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.
