I guess that Epic do not want some "MS treatment" in their business... so they are making a PS3 version, they are paying for the online service and making the users happy allowing the mods... I know somebody said the opposite, but, does anybody think that there is going to be some restrictions on the mods running in the PS3???, you know, less ram...

No more restrictions than are placed on the PC version. When a modder makes a mod, they are restricted to what the engine gives them. Back when I created maps for Quake, I would try to make them as huge as possible, only to have to cut them back down because they weren't playable. Modders simply have to run the mods they make for the PS3 on the PS3 and see how they perform. As far as the RAM is concerned, I would say there will be very few mods that will actually have an impact on that. Even then, if you decide to run a mod that pushes the system to the edge, then you are taking that responsibility as a player.
It seems the mods need help with this forum. I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.
