Sorry but I strongly dissagre... anything you playaround with and that gives you satisfaction is a toy... look at cars... what people do with them or pay for them goes way beyond simple transportation... Trix are for kids... toys are for everyone...

^ lol. Seriously though prof, what do you gain from this thread? The Wii IS a toy. And??? The other consoles are toys as well and you have not provided any evidence to show the contrary.
@786ali - Your posts are equally pointless, if not more. By stating that: "most PS3 games are not for children" are you admitting that some PS3 games are for children? Doesn't that make the PS3 a toy? Furthermore, the Wii's audience has an age range that goes from children to senior citizens. Going by your statement it is fair to conclude that because the Wii also caters to older crows then it is not a toy.

i dont see anyone denying that, wii is a toy, so is every gaming console ever released, they are disigned to be played after all.
