How's the difficulty in this game?

Anyone knows how to unlock the Sound test?

What a nice trick. I found out that cement shot is the best weapon to kill the boulder and flower minibosses (it must be the strongest weapon in the game). Rush coil can be used to reach some ladders if you use rush jet or tornado blow as soon as you jump on him. The pausing trick works with every weapon. For example, if you use hornet chaser and the bees go in the wrong direction, pause it to reset the pattern or if there is already 3 plug balls on the screen (in a bad place like the ceiling), pause to start shooting again. If you miss rush coil or jet, it is better to pause than to summon it again.

See, I thought you could do that with the cement shot, but I THOUGHT I had tried it on the DR W stage with the 3 beams and it didn't work (I must have missed >_

Game is amazing. Though it definitly isn't something that would of been on the NES.

I gotta get my Megaman reflexes back though. Modern games have made me a bit soft.

I agree, I noticed a couple times that there were more colors on the screen than the NES could support, and I definitely think some of the "physics" of some of the game pieces are too complcated for the NES CPU.

Finished it in 59 minutes without continuing =D

Wow, Magma Man is by far the most difficult to defeat with the megabuster...

Pretty hard. But very forgivable too. I can say this is the hardest out of the 8 Mega Man games. But it's easier than that awful MM1GB which was unforgivably difficult.

Also, I'm glad to see newcomers to the series trying out Mega Man 9 and loving it! Capcom has amazed me by a lot with this game.
