They specifically said the 360 and PS3 version will see a simultaneous launch in NA and Europe. That pretty much implies that all other versions, including the Asian and Australian release, will be done at that time. The PS3 version isn't being delayed at all, if you're living in Japan. But for everyone else, I believe SE said they won't even begin localization until after the Japanese release of the PS3 version.

thats what the article sounds like it is saying to me obieslut. I dunno, remember MS spins things how they want to spin them...remember all the stuff about DLC for GTA4 and that is was going to be out by August?

All i care is that it will take too much time for us western games to play unless u inport it and Final fantasy vs 13 will probaly release before.

Microsoft didn't spin this at all. It was the main boss at Square-Enix that specified it all during the SE conference at E3. Man, who told you all this ''Microsoft PR stuff is bull'' stuff? o_o

This has been already discussed to death - and the outcome is the same, as announced worldwide to all the game journalists in the world from the head of Square Enix and the head of Microsoft Entertainment division - FF13 is coming out simultaneously in NA and EU day and date.

All this talk about porting to 360 after is obvious as they actually have to finish the core game code first, and then they will port to both consoles from their Crystal Tools PC engine, first with the PS3 and then shortly after 360. All the delay talk is seriously over-exaggerated.

Its laughable that BioShock is compared to since the PS3 version was not even planned until after the 360 version, so obviously it was a late release. The 360 version of FF13 is already planned when the the game code isnt even finished yet (not even past alpha stage).

Why not you go and watch the E3 2008 conference again where the head of Square Enix/Microsoft announced it.

Alternatively if desperate enough we can learn Japanese and just import the game lol

What part? If its about the localization, I did say "I think". I could swear I read it somewhere though.

Does any1 trust SE!? I mean, they may SAY it was PS3 Exclusive, just like they May SAY Simultaneous release on PS360 outside of Japan.
