Forums - Gaming - Bandai-Namco's North American offices need to step up!

I keep hearing that people are having a hard time finding Tales of Vesperia. Namco needs to tighten up in North America. They didn't advertise Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos had horrible voice acting, they never ported the two Tales of DS titles to North America (granted Tales of the Tempest blew, but Tales of Innocence was superb), and now they apparently undershipped ToV which coincides with the lack of an ad campaign. It ridiculous. They threw a decent campaign behind Eternal Sonata but not their main JRPG franchise?

I think they plan to put most of their marketing ressources in the Naruto game.

I don't know, is Naruto popular in America?

^Unfortunately it is. I don't even watch the show but I see the ridiculous amount of Naruto games that see release. I swear a new Naruto game gets released each month.

Ah I remember like 2 or 3 years ago when CN started showing Naruto. I'd been following the subbed anime already and I was like, nah, American kids would never go for it.

I agree 100%. Its like they really couldn't care less about Tales. if they just advertised it like Sqeenixadvertise Final Fantasy, it could be ten times more popular.

But no, Namdai has to go and cluster**** the whole damn thing.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
