I'm just curious why Obama is dominating McCain so hard on the site's poll.  I think I read somewhere before that most gamers in general do tend to be Democrats, or maybe it's that most gamers are younger, and Obama is an appealing candidate for younger voters.  Anyone have any idea why Obama is pwning McCain so hard?

Well...as Montana pointed out about 5 minutes after the poll was made....most of the rest of the world favors Obama. And considering that the US only makes up about a third of the membership here it isn't that surprising.

I get the impression that most of the users on this site are under the age of 30. With that in mind, young people lean Democratic. There are also many users on here who are not US citizens. Obama is much more popular outside of the US than McCain is.

Im living a bottom lower class lifestyle. McCain is a republican Obama is a democrat who do you think Id vote for?

Im not even old enough to vote so Im not huge on what stands for what exactly. Anyways next election is when I'll be more into it.

I bet about 1/4 of the memeber on here from the US cant even vote also only about 1/3 are ven american so this site isnt really that fair of an comparrison to hopw people will vote in Novemeber. BTW...im voting for McCain

I think it comes to two things,

1. There are alot of Europeans on here, and Europe is far more liberal than the USA... So Obama is more mainstream there.

2. People her are typically males between the ages of 14-30, with the highest consentration being 18-24 year olds... Younger people vote more liberal... And Obama is younger too. So they can associate better.

In regard to point number 2: Couldn't that go both ways though? I may be wrong about this, but don't Men (in the US) typically vote more conservative than women?

Again, I really am quite unsure about it, or if it is true that it holds up for the age group you are talking about.
