Forums - Nintendo - Question to all Nintendo fans.

well i would have gotten a psone instead of a n64 and then would have stayed loyal to sony for the rest of my life! that fatefull day! i still remember, back in primary school and a few of my friends had n64s so when it came time for me to get something thats what I got. I hadnt actually heard of the sony playstation. Only sega , atari and nintendo, and Nintendo it has been ever since!!! Their were also alot of kids game shows on tv that promoted nintendo 64s and the original game boy. So I guess nintendos advertising sucked me in at a very young age lol.

Otherwise It would be sony. But even then if I were sony fan I would have had trouble buying the systems because their sooooo expensive!!! so I may have lost interest in console gaming all together and stuck with pc gaming (which I'd been doing since I cant even remember)

Miss the days of jazz jackrabbit, epic pinball and one must fall! :(

If at first you don't succeed, you fail

Hmm... if there was no Nintendo.... then I'd be on PC or better yet, doing something with my time that I alocate to gaming... like visiting my ex-wife... maybe she wouldn't be my ex... wow. ^_^

W/o Nintendo there probably wouldn't have been a Sega or a Sony and without a Sony their would be no Microsoft. Heck without a Nintendo at the rebirth of home console industry, their probably wouldn't be dedicated gaming boxes in our houses today. PC's would probably to the the gaming extent serve as a unified system for software... due to the similar directions as gaming is concerned in hardware and OS's.

PC's+Amiga and those old 8 bit systems were the first generation, the second generation would be from the NES onward, and now they say that Wii is marking the new generation... back on track though, none of the others would have my alliegence mainly because none of the other companies would of seen the market for Console gaming in their current business structures, they wouldn't have made anything of the sort unless a trend was leading them in that direction, I don't believe Sony would ever have touched console gaming as Ken Kuturgi was influenced by the SNES to even start working in a capacity relating to gaming.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

I would join Sony. They were the ones that got me into gaming. They provided me with awesome experience for the generations of PS1 and PS2. I mean I fail to understand what the hell they are doing with the PS3 this generation. But still I would go with Sony.

I never was a Nintendo fan. I always liked everyone equal. But I'm putting myself in that category for only this thread to see where or who I would choose and that is Sony.

No Zelda=no sale

Sony of course

I'd just play on my PC. Xbox and PS are cheap knockoffs of the PC, at least in the games I'm interested in so I just won't have a console.

Fully agree. I've always been a PC gamer and this is the only generation I've bought a home console (the Wii). Well, actually, I used to play on a friend's NES and PS1, but never felt like buying one.
