Im a diehard fan of halo 1 on PC. and i really like using the pistol. but i know that it is Overpowered in halo 1, so bungie made it less powerfull in halo 2 and 3. how many hs do you have to do with a a pistol to kill somebody?

I don't know, but Halo 3's pistol is a good mix between 1 and 2's. (More powerful and better range than 2's, not as overpowered as 1's)

ok then im saves. because i have feared that the pistol in h3 were as crappy as in halo2 . well then halo 3 is a worth buy for me. thanks a lot

before you go buy halo 3, you should be aware that the most important thing in halo 3 online is melee attacking.

You just can't zoom in with the pistol this time around. o_o

That's is so ridiculously false if you know what you're doing and 5... it takes 5 shots with the new pistol and there's no scope.

^its true man, whether you want to admit it or not, in a given match, i die by melee attacks 70% of the time.

The pistol is still very weak, but they're fun to use and not bad to dual wield.

that only shows the finishing move, about 70% of my deaths include a melee attack.
