i cant decide which is best

Gears of war 2, Fable 2 (360)

Resistance 2, LBP (Ps3)

Fallout 3 (Ps360)

Wii music (wii!)

The game I'm most looking forward to this fall is Gears 2, I don't think anything else is even close enough to warrant the 2 spot.

I'd say the best game (innovation, gameplay, cricitally accepted, etc.) will be LBP... but in terms of personal enjoyment, Valkyria Chronicles!

Malstrom disagrees with you. Even if the reviewers would not like that game, it is just because they are biased. It will sell a lot, so it has to be a great game.

Far Cry 2 was mentioned... only twice? I can't believe you're not waiting for it.

LBP will probably be too casual to be the best game; it might be good, even excellent, but it's probably too casual for me to be the best. Resistance 2 is missing something no matter how good it is otherwise. X360 games do not interest me; Fable 2 doesn't seem to fit me and GeoW2 will probably be more of the same (which doesn't seem too good). Fallout 3 has probably been spoiled by Bethesda, just as Oblivion was. Mirror's Edge is probably too linear though its idea is great. Besides, I have a feeling it won't be that special after all.

Far Cry 2 on the other hand seems to have pretty solid gameplay, graphics and everything else. The most important, though, is a huge, open and dynamic world. Sure, it might have a few drawbacks as well but it's definitely the best game this fall.
