Well I never really used CN for anime, only as a kid for DBZ, Gudam or YuYu Hakusho. But I dont get why they ever took all the good shows of , I mean the most reasent Toonami lineup was trash, but those childhood memories make me sad that it's all gone.

I used to watch Cartoon Network for Edd, Ed 'n' Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, I am Weasel, and Cow and Chicken, I used to also watch it for Dragonball Z until that moved to Toonami, I then watched DBZ and Pokemon on Toonami for a couple of years, until my parents cancelled the kids channels.

Everything was better then than it is now.

CN used to be good... until they got rid of the good shows like power puff girls, dexters laboratory, ed, edd, and eddy, old bugs bunny re-runs, cow and chicken, G Gundam, Zoidz, (and the other zoids show).

And of course, I mostly just outgrew cartoons like Pokemon and such.

Johnny Bravo Powerpuff Girls, Dexter Cow and Chickedn oh the memories now they have the ugliest most retarded shows I mean WTF is Chowder!

when they decided to make Toonami run at like 1 am on Saturday nights that was the dumbest thing ever. that's why Bandai is putting Gundam 00 on the scifi channel. CN singlehandedly ruined all momentum that Gundam Wing made for the popularity of the franchise. It seems that the CN people are letting the folks at williams street run the show, and while I like some adult swim.....they play too much crap...for every venture bros, they have something terrible to offset it like 12 oz mouse or superjail.....ugh

On the original Toonami, the only anime they had was DBZ. There was Thundercats, DBZ and new Johnny Quest if I can remember right. Maybe it was Voltron but DBZ was the first anime on it.

@beja, Chowder is retarded but you should watch Flap Jack.  That show is funny and reminds me of the good old days.

Flapjack is awesome, it reminds me of old nickelodeon stuff like Ren and Stimpy
